If you have multiple Facebook pages linked to your Zendesk account you might want an easier way to identify which Facebook page your tickets are coming from. Luckily, this tip of the week has you covered.
We can accomplish the identification process in the following steps:
- Creating the custom field
- Uploading two php scripts to your server: fbidentifier.php, which you can upload as-is and fb-config.php, which you’ll edit for your instance
- Creating the URL target
- Creating the trigger
After you complete this process, whenever a ticket gets created the custom field will be modified by the script. You can use the custom field to manage all your business rules related to Facebook.
