Reftab

Reftab helps you track assets and inventory by using barcodes and qr-codes to assign items to users.

Asset details display on Zendesk support tickets so you don't have to move between multiple applications to see important information.

Example Use Case

When a new employee starts, they are assigned a laptop. This information is recorded easily in Reftab. If the user submits a ticket in Zendesk about the laptop being broken, the details of that laptop are displayed within the Zendesk ticket. This allows support staff to see important details such as warranty information, serial number, images, etc. without having to leave Zendesk.

Data Disclosure

The Reftab Zendesk app accesses and uses only the Zendesk data needed to operate the integration. This may include ticket context, ticket identifiers, requester or user information such as name and email address when available, and the Reftab API public and secret keys entered during installation.

This data is used to authenticate requests, look up assets assigned to the requester or related user, display Reftab asset details in Zendesk tickets, and attach or link Reftab assets to Zendesk tickets. When an asset is attached or linked to a Zendesk ticket, Reftab may store the association between the Zendesk ticket and the Reftab asset, along with related logs needed for security, troubleshooting, audit, and support.

The app may display Reftab asset data in Zendesk, including asset names, asset IDs, serial numbers, barcode or QR code values, assigned users, locations, images, warranty information, maintenance information, and other asset fields configured in Reftab. Reftab uses integration data to provide, secure, troubleshoot, support, analyze, and improve the integration and related Reftab services, and as otherwise described in Reftab's Terms of Service.
