Turn any part of your help center into a document, without leaving Zendesk and without a server.
About the developer
Built and supported by Pablo Simón, an independent developer in Ireland, from the same engine as Help Center Doctor and the free Help Center Link Checker.
What the app does
Pick articles, sections, categories or the whole help center in a tree with search and filters (status, label, updated in the last N days, only translated).
Choose the language of the document; articles without a translation fall back to the source language or are left out.
Set the cover page, table of contents, company name, logo, footer, last-updated dates, source links, page breaks, paper size (A4 or Letter) and the article order.
Check a live preview, then Print / Save as PDF, or download Word (.docx, images embedded), a single HTML file, Markdown, a ZIP with one file per article in category and section folders, or a CSV index.
Save export profiles ("Customer handbook", "Monthly backup") and repeat any export from the history with one click.
Reads with about one request per 100 articles and refreshes only what changed. 5,000 articles load in seconds.

Free: one article per document, default language, Print / PDF and HTML.
Pro (14-day free trial, billed per account): up to 500 articles per document, every language, Word, Markdown, ZIP and CSV, branding, custom order, embedded images and profiles.
Data disclosure
The app runs entirely in the agent's browser inside Zendesk Support. It has no server, no vendor account and no API key.
Data accessed through the Zendesk API with the signed-in user's permissions: help center articles (title, body, labels, status, dates), translations, sections, categories, enabled locales and the current user's name, role and locale. Images are fetched with the user's session only for Word files or when "Embed images" is on.
Data written: none. The app never changes your help center.
Data stored: the article cache, selection, export history, profiles and settings in the browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on the agent's computer. "Clear local data" in Settings removes it.
Nothing is transmitted to the developer or to any third party. No analytics, cookies or AI services.

Help Center Print & Export needs no account, API key or configuration.
- Click Install on this listing (you need to be a Zendesk admin), choose your account and a plan. Pro starts with a 14-day free trial.
- On the installation screen you can restrict the app to certain roles or groups. Click Install.
Open Zendesk Support. Print & Export appears as an icon in the left navigation bar. If you do not see it, reload the page.
- Click Load help center. The app reads your articles with your own permissions and never changes anything.
- Tick categories, sections or articles in the Library, then open Document to set the title, language, cover and branding, check the preview and export.
