About this app
TipTap is a digital tipping platform for customer-support teams, built by TipTap LLC. We help companies recognize and reward great service by letting customers leave a cash tip for the specific agent who helped them — and we give teams the tools to understand and grow that appreciation.
Once you connect TipTap through Zendesk, a personalized tip link is posted on each ticket automatically when it is solved, every tip is routed to the right agent, and payouts are handled securely through Stripe Connect. Beyond the integration, TipTap gives your whole team a platform:

Data & privacy:
TipTap requests read access to your Zendesk agents (name, email, and role) so tips reach the correct person, and posts webhook and trigger events so tip links appear on solved tickets. We do not read your ticket content or customer conversations, and we never sell your data. All communication between the app and TipTap happens over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access is scoped to the account that installed the app. See our Privacy Policy at https://tiptap.cx/privacy for how we collect, use, and protect data.

설치 방법
From the Zendesk Marketplace, click Install and choose the account to install into.
When prompted, click Authorize to grant TipTap read access to your agents and permission to post ticket events. This runs automatically during install — there is no shared secret or API key to enter.
Installation creates and connects your TipTap account for you. No settings need to be configured by hand.
Open TipTap from the sidebar in Zendesk.
In TipTap, review and accept the company agreement, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy to activate your account.
Once your account is active, use Available to sync to import the agents you want to enable, or Sync all.
Each agent then completes their own payout setup (Stripe Connect) from their TipTap agent dashboard so they can receive tips — this is done per agent, not by the company.
To remove the integration later, open TipTap and click Disconnect.
