Can I control which attachments are removed? Yes. You define the selection using Zendesk search queries — for example by date, tag, or file extension.
Does this delete ticket text or comments? No, only attachments are deleted. Ticket text remains untouched.
Does it remove inline images too? Yes, inline images are also deleted.
What happens if something goes wrong? Errors are logged so you can follow up or retry if needed. Already-processed tickets are tagged to avoid reprocessing.

Install the app
Click Install.
Select the Zendesk instance where you want to install Remove Attachments.
Follow the redirection to your Zendesk admin area. Make sure you have admin rights.
- By default, the app is named Remove Attachments, but you can rename it. Decide if you want to enable role or group restrictions.
Finally, click Install again.
Access the app
Go to your agent workspace. Click the four-square icon in the top right corner, then select Support.
Locate the Remove Attachments icon to the left after the Settings icon.Note: If you have many applications installed, it may be hidden under the three dots in the lower left corner of your screen.
Click the three dots to continue.
Create an account
On the Settings page, go to Login.
Create a new account or, if you are already a Knots customer, select Login.
