설치 방법
Head on over to Sticky.io's 'Get Started' page in order to schedule a demo and get your account created.
After you've gained entry into your Sticky.io account, you need to create API credentials to connect to the Sticky.io Connect app.
Go to the Sticky.io Dashboard, then:
- Click 'SETTINGS' from the main menu
- From the dropdown, click 'ACCOUNTS & PERMISSIONS'
- Upon loading the next page, click the 'API Accounts' tab, find the 'ACTIONS' button below that and click the arrow button to the right of it
- From the dropdown, click 'Add API User'
- Upon loading the popup, enter these details:
- Username: Sticky.io Connect App
- Company Contact: The name of a point of contact from your company
- Email: Email address of a point of contact from your company
- Phone: Phone number of a point of contact from your company
- Department: Select 'External API User'
- Click on the 'SAVE' button
Save the API username/password temporarily somewhere
- Per Zendesk's rules, the username and password needs to be 'encoded', this can be done by doing the following:
- Go to our API Credential Encoder page
Enter your API username and password into their respective fields
- Your API credentials will be automatically encoded and you can copy it from the 'API Token' field and temporarily save it
- From your Sticky.io Dashboard, look at the URL, for example: https://bluegemdemo.sticky.io/admin
- 'bluegemdemo', in this example, is our 'Sticky.io appKey'
Whatever value that is for your account, copy that value and save it temporarily somewhere
- Go to the Sticky.io Connect's app settings and:
- Paste the encoded 'API token' into the '
sticky_token
' field - Paste your 'appKey' into the '
sticky_appKey
' field
- Paste the encoded 'API token' into the '
- Click the 'Update' button
That's it! You should be all set!
