Data handling & disclosures

We take data minimization and security seriously.

• Data accessed: Ticket metadata (ID, subject, status, requester, org, assignee), CC/Follower lists, and related user records needed to validate or remove entries.
• How data is processed: All API calls are made via the Zendesk Apps Framework (ZAF) from the agent’s browser session. Data is used only in-session to render search results and apply removals.
• Storage & transmission: We do not send customer data to any external servers or third-party services. No data is persisted beyond the agent’s browser memory, except optional undo plans stored in localStorage.
• Access controls: The app respects the signed-in agent’s Zendesk permissions; it cannot access tickets or users the agent is not authorized to view.
• Misuse prevention: No background collection, tracking, or secondary use. Data is not shared, sold, or used for training.
• Configuration: No configuration is required. All operations run in-session using the agent’s own API permissions.
