With the app, you can set timers to trigger delayed tickets and conversation updates. You can set unlimited timers for up to 15 minutes with 1-second accuracy.
Some of the use cases:
Dynamically update conversation Title
Send the CSAT survey 10 seconds after the ticket is solved.
Close tickets 10 minutes after CSAT is offered.
Notify customers in messaging chats about solving the ticket.
Send greetings with an agent's name when a chat is assigned to the agent.
Solve messaging tickets in 10 minutes following end-user inactivity.
Notify the supervisor if a conversation was not updated in 120 seconds.
Send custom messages with embeddables. E.g. a custom CSAT.
What app does
The app adds a webhook and trigger example. You can use Zendesk Support triggers to:
- Add a tag to a ticket with a 0-900 second delay (the delay is a parameter).
- Send a configurable message to the conversation.
You can build a chain of other actions following ticket updates with added tags.

How to Install Delayer
Follow these steps to set up the app in Zendesk:
- Install the App – Click Install on the Zendesk Marketplace and use the NOCC coupon to install without a credit card.
- Create API Credentials – In Admin Center → Conversations API → Create an API Key, generate and save your credentials.
- Open the App – Refresh the Support page and click the left navigation panel app icon.
- Grant Permissions – Allow the app to access your Zendesk account.
- Enter API Credentials – Paste your Conversations API credentials into the app.
- Set Up a Trigger – Configure an example trigger for your use case.
- (Optional) Customize Triggers – Add additional triggers or modify the example trigger if needed.
