If you haven't already, create a Simplesat account and start a free 14-day trial here.

Sending a survey through Zendesk Chat

  • Create and build a new survey

  • For the delivery option, choose External email embed, and then Zendesk Chat

  • The next time you open a Zendesk Chat window it should automatically appear in the chat's sidebar

  • Click the survey button and paste it in your chat

To install the Simplesat app for Zendesk Chat and embed Simplesat in your chats:

  • Click the install button at the top of this page to install the app in your Zendesk environment.

  • When asked for an API Token, fill in your Simplesat account key from this page.

To activate Simplesat's other Zendesk integrations

  • The Zendesk integrations can be activated in your Simplesat account here.
  • On the integrations page, you can enable a number of features, including syncing contacts, syncing feedback with tickets, updating tickets with tags and internal notes, and writing back satisfaction ratings to tickets.
