Data disclosure & security

Geckoboard’s integration with Zendesk securely accesses your Zendesk data via the official Zendesk API.

  • Data access: Only the metrics and fields you explicitly select are retrieved.
  • Data use: Your Zendesk data is used solely to power dashboards you create within Geckoboard. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any secondary purposes.
  • Data storage: Geckoboard does not permanently store your Zendesk ticket content. Metrics and summaries may be cached temporarily to enable fast refresh rates and real-time dashboards.
  • Data sharing: Your data is never sold or shared with third parties. It is only visible to users you authorize within your Geckoboard account.
  • Security: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is restricted and monitored, with regular security reviews and strict internal controls.
  • Privacy: Geckoboard is GDPR-compliant and adheres to industry best practices for safeguarding customer data.
