By enabling this app, you agree to the Built by Zendesk Terms of Use and the following data usage policy:

In the provision of this Application (a) your Customer Data (as defined in Your agreement with Salesforce) will be transmitted or processed outside of the Salesforce systems and to that extent Salesforce is not responsible for the privacy, security or integrity of that Customer Data; and (b) data transmitted or processed by the Application outside Salesforce’s systems shall not constitute Customer Data (as defined in Your Agreement with Salesforce).

Supported Salesforce Editions

The Zendesk for Salesforce integration is available if you are using the following Salesforce editions:

  • Performance
  • Unlimited
  • Enterprise
  • Developer
  • Or other editions with Salesforce API rights, such as Professional with the API add-on.

Getting Started

You must be a Zendesk Support administrator and Salesforce administrator to set up your integration. You cannot use an API-only Salesforce user to connect the integration.

The setup process requires the following:

  1. Checking your Salesforce session setting
  2. Connecting Zendesk to Salesforce
  3. Installing and configuring the Salesforce Support App for Zendesk
  4. Setting up user access to Zendesk tickets in Salesforce
