Installation Instructions for PlentyONE Connector

Welcome to the PlentyONE Connector, the bridge between Zendesk and PlentyONE. Let's get you started with the installation and configuration.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Install the App

Begin by installing the PlentyONE Connector app in your Zendesk account.

2. Configure API Access

Navigate to the app's settings to configure the PlentyONE API access. You'll need the following details:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Plenty system URL (Settings -> Client -> Default-Shop -> Settings)
  • Plenty system ID (Top right corner in your PlentyONE backend)

Ensure you have the correct credentials at hand.

3. Select Allowed Order Statuses

For agents to modify order statuses, you must specify which statuses are permitted. Input these in the format of "1;2.1;3;7.4".

  • Statuses are separated by semicolons (;).
  • Use a dot (.) to denote specific status IDs.

For instance, if you input "1;2.1", it means agents can changes orders to the status "1" and "2.1".

4. Link ticket fields (optional)

Zendesk ticket fields (type: text) can be filled with relevant order information. The information from the ticket fields can be used in Zendesk macros. When linking an order to a ticket, the stored fields are filled. If the link is removed, the fields are emptied again. To link the ticket fields, please enter the field IDs that were created in the Zendesk settings beforehand.

5. Open a Ticket

Once the installation is complete, open a ticket in Zendesk. You'll now find the PlentyONE Connector app visible in the sidebar.
