Overview
While being thanked is nice, thank you replies are notorious for wasting agent time.
Without AI, the best you can do to prevent them is set up Zendesk triggers to look for keywords like "thank you"—but that’s unreliable. A customer might say, "Thank you, but I actually need something else," and a simple keyword rule would mistakenly solve the ticket.
That’s where Thank You Autosolve comes in. Our app uses AI-driven reasoning to determine whether a reopened ticket’s reply is truly a gratitude-only message: one where no further action is needed. If it is, the ticket is automatically solved. If not, it remains open for the agent to review.

Yes! Thank You Autosolve effectively solves thank you replies for major languages including- but not limited to- English, Spanish, French, German, Portugese, Italian, Japanese, and Mandarin. If you're wondering about its effectiveness for another language, we encourage you to install the app for the free trial and test it out!
- How can I verify that the app is accurately solving only true thank you messages?
Tickets solved by our app are tagged with "thankyouautosolve." Upon installation, our app creates a "Solved Thank You Autosolved Tickets" view where you can see all tickets solved by our app (i.e., tagged "thankyouautosolve").
Once you're confident in the app’s accuracy, you can choose to deactivate that view.
- What happens if AI isn’t sure about a reply?
If a response isn’t clearly a thank you reply, the app will err on the side of caution and leave the ticket as is.

Installation Instructions
Installing Thank You Autosolve is quick and easy. Follow these steps to get started:
1. Install the App
- Click the Install button.
- Select the Zendesk account where you want to install the app and click Install again.
You'll be taken to your Zendesk instance—log in if you aren't already.
2. Provide Required Details
Once logged in, you'll be directed to the app installation page. Here, you'll need to enter two details to allow our external comment processor to solve thank you replies automatically:
a. Account Owner Email
- Navigate to Admin Center > People > Team Members.
- In the user table, locate the account owner—identified by a grey bubble labeled "Account Owner".
b. API Token
- Go to Admin Center > Apps and Integrations > Zendesk API.
- If prompted, accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Click the Settings tab, enable Token Access, and select Add API Token.
Give the token a recognizable name (e.g., "Thank You Autosolve App").
Copy the token and save it securely.
3. Finalize the Installation
- Enter the Account Owner Email and API Token into the app installation page.
- Click Install.
4. Sit Back and Enjoy
Congratulations! The app is now installed and will immediately begin analyzing all comments that reopen solved tickets.
Uninstalling the App
If you decide Thank You Autosolve isn't right for you before your free trial ends, uninstall it to avoid being charged:- Navigate to Admin Center > Apps and Integrations.- Locate Thank You Autosolve and uninstall it.
