Zendesk VideoEngager App – Installation Instructions

Enhance customer interactions with VideoEngager by enabling video calls within Zendesk tickets. Follow these steps to install and set up the app for your team.

Step 1: Install the App

  1. Log in to your Zendesk Admin account.
  2. Open the Zendesk Marketplace.
  3. Search for VideoEngager and click Install.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

Step 2: Access VideoEngager Settings

  1. Open Zendesk Support.
  2. Locate the VideoEngager icon in the left or right navigation bar.
  3. Click on the icon to open VideoEngager Settings.

📌 Important: Make sure to access this page from an admin account for a smooth first-time setup.

Step 3: Verify Installation

  • If the VideoEngager Settings page opens successfully, the app is fully installed for your organization.
  • Other team members can now access VideoEngager directly from Zendesk tickets.

Step 4: Using VideoEngager for Video Calls

  1. Open a Zendesk ticket.
  2. Navigate to the Apps sidebarVideoEngager.
  3. Click on the Invite for Video Chat button to initiate a video call with the customer.
