Simplify time tracking with our Zendesk-integrated TimeLog app. Streamline your workflow by seamlessly logging time spent on support tickets without leaving Zendesk. Our app lets support agents select customers, projects, and tasks directly from their TimeLog account. After adding a comment and time spent, the entry is automatically saved in TimeLog when the support ticket reply is submitted.

설치 방법

  1. Click Free trial to install this app.

  2. Now you need to enter your TimeLog app server, account name, username and password.

  3. To find your TimeLog app server follow the instructions under the section "Get URL" here: https://api.timelog.com/transactional/gettingstarted

  4. TimeLog Account is the [account name] described in the link above.

  5. Username and password should be for a user with admin privileges. We recommend that you create a dedicated service user in TimeLog with full access and use this user for the app.

  6. In the app settings, you can also check the option "Require time registration on send ticket". This will block Zendesk agents from sending a response to a ticket if no time registration is entered in the app.

  7. Decide whether to limit access for this app for specific roles and groups.

  8. Fill out the billing details form and click on Proceed to payment (you are only billed after the 7-day trial ends).

  9. NB! The app will use the admin account only for connecting to TimeLog. When a support agent uses the app, by default their email is used as the TimeLog username for logging the time.

  10. To change the individual username: The app adds a TimeLog username custom field on each agent profile. Each agent can change their own username. Click on the profile icon in the upper right corner and click "View profile". Scroll down to the bottom of the left sidebar to find the "Timelog username" field. Enter the username and click anywhere outside the field to save it. The app will now use this username instead of the email.
