“Synchronized by Synolia”, automatically synchronizes ticket fields information on the end-user record.

This app collects useful information on the end-user view in a context broader than that of the ticket.

Example: New phone number, postal address, Facebook account, Twitter account, preferred call-back time slot, title…

The ticket information selected to be synchronized are immediately displayed on the end-user side after the ticket submission through the form or the web widget.

You just need to create the fields and manage which ones you want to synchronize in the administration view.

  • Create the user fields and the ticket fields you need to synchronize .Please see below the requirements to have a successful synchronization.

  • The synchronization works with all types of fields (dropdown, date, long text…)

  • Both fields (ticket and end-user fields) must have the same type.

  • Warning: You must disable “Tags on users and organisations” (Admin/ Settings / Customers) to have the synchronization for dropdown fields.

  • The tickets tags can stay active. If “Tags on users and organisations” remains enabled, please do not synchronize dropdown fields.

  • To synchronize the standard user fields phone number, Twitter and Facebook accounts, you just need to create the ticket fields (you don’t need to duplicate them on the end-user record).

  • Create a check box named « Synchronized »: This field is required to launch the synchronization one time. You mustn’t display this field in any forms or put it as required for any of the agents or end-users.

  • Install the app

  • Set up the app's name (such as « Synchronized ticket and user »)

  • If the check box « Show synchronized fields on the ticket view » : is enabled, the synchronized fields will be shown in read only, if not they will be hidden.

  • Fill the administration panel with the ticket ID field only for the synchronization of the standard fields: phone number, Twitter account, Facebook account. (the ticket field ID is a number)

  • Fill the administration panel with the ticket and user ID fields to synchronize your custom fields (the user id field is a string)

  • Click on the « Update » button when finished

  • A window in the sidebar automatically shows the information synchronized

  • The synchronized tickets fields can’t be updated by the ticket, you can only update them on the end-user record.
