After installing the Ticket Flow app, administrators must configure it to match their organization’s specific needs. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to access the app settings, configure options, and customize field names and values.
App Installation
To install the Ticket Flow app in Zendesk, follow these steps:
1. Log in to ZendeskEnsure you are logged in with administrator privileges.
2. Navigate to the Zendesk MarketplaceGo to Admin Center > Apps and Integrations > Marketplace.
3. Search for Ticket FlowUse the search bar to locate Ticket Flow, then click Install.
4. Complete the InstallationFollow the on-screen instructions to finalize the installation.
App Configuration
The Ticket Flow app is designed for exclusive customization by administrators or agents with special permissions for managing Zendesk apps.
Accessing App Settings
To access the app configuration options, navigate to:- Apps and Integrations » Zendesk Support Apps » Ticket Flow » Change Settings
From this screen, you can customize field names and values, including removing or modifying text to suit your team’s requirements.
Key Configuration Options
- Close Match: Enable similarity-based matching for values in text fields, ensuring accurate and relevant selections.
- Target Field: Specify the numeric ID of the dropdown field you want to customize. The list of items displayed or hidden will dynamically adjust based on the value of another field (e.g., 123456789).
Note: As this is an initial version, the app currently allows customization of item visibility for a single dropdown field only. If you wish to customize additional fields, an additional app subscription will be required, with each instance installed and configured separately.
Using the Ticket Flow Dashboard
Access the Ticket Flow Dashboard from the left-hand navigation bar (navbar) in your Zendesk Support interface.- The icon is visible only to Administrators. If it’s missing, check your access permissions.
Dashboard Overview
The dashboard is divided into two panels:- Left Panel: Displays all forms in your account.- Right Panel: Lists all the conditions added for this form, while also allowing individual items to be added or removed with ease.
