With a simple and intuitive interface, you can schedule unlimited reminders for any ticket, add custom notes, and receive timely notifications—ensuring no customer request is forgotten. Whether you need to follow up in minutes, hours, or days, Remind Me keeps you on track.

Data Disclosure & Privacy

Data Collection & Storage:Remind Me stores all reminder data locally in your browser's LocalStorage. No data is transmitted to external servers or third-party services.

Data Accessed:- Ticket information (ID, subject, status, type, assigned group)- Requester information (name, avatar URL)- Current user information (for notification targeting)

Data Stored Locally:- Reminder timestamps and priority settings- Custom notes you add to reminders- Notification preferences (sound settings, feature toggles)- Alert targeting preferences (me/everyone/group)

External Resources:- Notification sound files are hosted on GitHub (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kundankarna1994/zd-assets/master/remind-me/) and are loaded only when notifications are triggered.

Data Retention:- All reminder data persists in your browser until manually deleted via the app interface.- Clearing browser data will remove all stored reminders and settings.- No server-side storage or backup exists.

Cross-Agent Notifications:- When you select "Alert Everyone" or "Alert Ticket Agent Group", the app uses Zendesk's notification API to send alerts to other agents.- Only the ticket ID, your name, and notification type are transmitted through Zendesk's secure API.

How to install Remind Me!

Follow these simple steps to install and start using Remind Me in your Zendesk account. No technical expertise required!

1. Install the app- Click the Install button on the Zendesk Marketplace.- Select the Zendesk account where you want to install the app.

2. Access Remind Me- After installation, navigate to any ticket in Zendesk.- Find the Remind Me app in the ticket sidebar.

3. Set a Reminder- Click Add Reminder to set a notification for the ticket.- Choose a time duration (minutes, hours, or days) or select a specific date and time.- Set priority level (High, Medium, or Low).- Optionally, add a custom note (up to 200 characters) for context.- Select a notification sound from the available options for personalized alerts.- Choose who should receive the alert: Only Me, Everyone, or the Ticket Agent Group.- Your reminder will be saved, and you'll receive a notification when it's time to follow up.

4. Manage Reminders- Use the Customize tab to view, edit, or delete reminders for the current ticket.- Edit reminder notes, priority, time, and alert settings as needed.

5. View All Reminders- Open the Top Bar App to see all upcoming and triggered reminders at a glance.- Click on any reminder to open the ticket in a new window.

6. Configure Settings- Click the settings icon in the Reminder tab to customize: - Enable/disable Timer and Stopwatch features - Choose notification sound preferences - Set sticky or auto-hide notification behavior
